Abstract

Throughout human history, we have observed the ability and diversity of humans to adapt to complex environments and conditions. Although today the human being does not have to protect himself from predators or go hunting to survive, there are certain needs that communities must meet to guarantee a dignified habitability of the territory. In Latin America, nuclei and communities began to emerge in territories usually remnant. Due to a low social capacity to obtain housing, small urban housing centers begin to emerge in precarious conditions, mostly settled irregularly in residual territories of the city or taken irregularly by the inhabitants, many of these territories do not have the equipment and infrastructure mainly water, electricity and drainage standing out among the most basic.

A lo largo de la historia de la humanidad, hemos observado la capacidad y diversidad de los seres humanos para adaptarse a entornos y condiciones complejas. Si bien hoy en día el ser humano no tiene que protegerse de los depredadores ni salir de cacería para sobrevivir si existen ciertas necesidades que las comunidades deben cumplir para garantizar una digna habitabilidad del territorio. En América Latina comenzaron a surgir núcleos y comunidades en territorios habitualmente remanentes. Debido a una baja capacidad social de obtención de una vivienda comienzan a emerger pequeños núcleos urbanos de vivienda en condiciones precarias, en su mayoría asentadas de manera irregular en territorios residuales de la ciudad o tomados de manera irregular por los pobladores, muchos de estos territorios no poseen el equipamiento e infraestructura principalmente agua, luz y drenaje destacando entre las más básicas.
