Evaluación y análisis retrospectivo de dos ensayos de progenies de Pinus greggii Engelm. de primera y segunda generación en Morelia, Michoacán

Abstract

In center of Desarrollo Tecnológico (CDT) “Rescuing Lira Lopez” of Trusts Instituted in relation to Agricultura (CDT-FIRA), of Morelia Michoacán, was established a test of lineages of average brothers of Pinus greggii Engelm of first generation in September of 1992, with seed coming from rodales natural of the locality of the Madroño, Querétaro. Later, in 2005, test in the same CDT-FIRA settled down a second, with seed coming from 17 selected trees of the test established in 1992, reason why this test was considered of second generation. The FIRA personnel measured the trees of the first test years 1994, 1996, 1997 and 1998 (to 2, 4, 5 and 6 years of established the test, respectively). With the aim of making an evaluation genetic of both tests and proposing a handling strategy, one first measurement of the second was realized test in July and a fifth measurement of the first test in September of 2009. The evaluated variables were overall height (ALT), diameter around the chest (DAP) and volume of the trunk (BOWL). The evaluated variables presented/displayed the majors coefficient of variation to the 4 (1996) and 5 (1997) years of age (20.60 ≤ CB ≤ 62.94). The analysis of the test of first generation showed to significant differences (P ≤ 0.05) between families for all the variables and years, except in the age of 17 years (2009) where were no differences for no of the variables (P ≥ 0,807). The heredabilidades at individual level were low (0.00 ≤ h 2i ≤ 0.18), and concerning averages of families they went of losses to relatively high (0.00 ≤ h 2f ≤ 0.43). The genetic gain was of losses (ΔG = 0.00%) to moderately low (ΔG = 13.02%), appearing the majors values at the age of 4 years.

En el Centro de Desarrollo Tecnológico (CDT) “Salvador Lira López” de Fideicomisos Instituidos en Relación con la Agricultura (CDT-FIRA), de Morelia Michoacán, fue establecido un ensayo de progenies de medios hermanos de Pinus greggii Engelm de primera generación en septiembre de 1992, con semilla procedente de rodales naturales de la localidad de El Madroño, Querétaro. Posteriormente, en 2005, se estableció un segundo ensayo en el mismo CDT- FIRA, con semilla procedente de 17 árboles seleccionados del ensayo establecido en 1992, por lo que este ensayo se consideró de segunda generación. El personal de FIRA midió los árboles del primer ensayo los años 1994, 1996, 1997 y 1998 a los 2, 4, 5 y 6 años de establecido el ensayo, respectivamente. Con el objetivo de hacer una evaluación genética de los dos ensayos y proponer una estrategia de manejo, se realizó una primera medición del segundo ensayo en julio y una quinta medición del primer ensayo en septiembre de 2009. Las variables evaluadas fueron altura total (ALT), diámetro a la altura del pecho (DAP) y volumen del tronco (VOL). El análisis del ensayo de primera generación mostró diferencias significativas (P ≤ 0.05) entre familias para todas las variables y años, excepto en la edad de 17 años (2009) en donde no hubo diferencias para ninguna de las variables (P ≥ 0.807). Las heredabilidades a nivel individual fueron bajas (0.00 ≤ h 2i ≤ 0.18), y a nivel de medias de familias fueron de bajas a relativamente altas (0.00 ≤ h 2f ≤ 0.43). Las ganancias genéticas esperadas usando una intensidad de selección de 20% fueron de bajas (ΔG = 0.00%) a moderadamente bajas (ΔG = 13.02%), presentándose los mayores valores a la edad de 4 años.
