Importancia de cumplir con las normas de acreditación en los laboratorios de análisis clínicos

Abstract

The present investigation was based on the clinical analysis laboratories representative of the city of Morelia, about knowing their current situation about their strengths and weaknesses, besides knowing if they comply with the corresponding regulations and observing the size of the impact of these on such establishments, in the same way observe the way in which these standards influence the accreditation of such laboratories, since for some reason many establishments do not comply with the established quality standards, either voluntary and / or mandatory. To know the current position of the laboratories, a survey was designed, which was applied to 23 laboratories that are 10% of the 225 existing in the city of Morelia, Michoacán, which were randomly selected regardless of whether they are big or small. Thus, by means of such surveys we specify more extensive results on the problem based on an analysis of the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats they have, as well as the function that standards develop and the use they make of them. With this we were able to specify appropriate recommendations that may suggest suggesting to the corresponding authorities, thus the clinical analysis laboratories will have greater interaction among themselves, to share experiences, improve traceability, which would help to identify errors and reinforce methods of development in the laboratory and thereby generate greater certainty in the user population

La presente investigación tomó como base los laboratorios de análisis clínicos representativos de la ciudad de Morelia, acerca de saber su situación actual sobre sus fortalezas y debilidades, además de saber si estos cumplen con la normatividad correspondiente y observar el tamaño del impacto de estas sobre tales establecimientos, de igual manera observar la forma en que influyen estas normas para la acreditación de tales laboratorios, ya que por alguna razón muchos establecimientos no cumplen con las normas de calidad establecidas, ya sea de carácter voluntario y/o obligatorio. Para conocer la posición actual en que se encuentran los laboratorios, se diseñó una encuesta, que se aplicó a 23 laboratorios que son el 10% de los 225 existentes en la ciudad de Morelia, Michoacán, los cuales se seleccionaron aleatoriamente sin importar si estos son grandes o pequeños. Así por medio de tales encuestas concretamos resultados más extensos sobre la problemática a partir de un análisis de las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas con las que cuentan, así como la función que desarrollan las normas y el uso que les dan a estas. Con ello pudimos concretar recomendaciones adecuadas que pueden llegar a sugerir aplicar a las autoridades correspondientes, así los laboratorios de análisis clínicos tendrán mayor interacción entre si, para compartir experiencias, mejorar la trazabilidad, lo cual ayudaría a identificar errores y reforzar métodos de desarrollo en el laboratorio y con ello generar mayor certidumbre en la población usuaria.
