Causas del abstencionismo en el distrito electoral federal de Apatzingán durante las elecciones federales de 1991 a 2006

Abstract

This paper shows the figures reflected abstention by the federal elections of 1991 the year of 2006 in the Federal Electoral District of Apatzingan, represented in tables and graphs based on official figures released by the Federal Electoral Institute since its inception in 1991 and to the last election held in 2006. the causes of absenteeism presented in this district were analyzed, see through a survey reason argue that citizens not to come on the day to exercise the vote. By statistics, graphs and charts of the federal elections of 1991 and 2006, the increase in abstention in the Federal Electoral District of Apatzingan and the changes that have occurred through each of the federal elections is reflected. The results support the conclusion that the turnout in the Federal Electoral District of Apatzingan is generated by the lack of credibility of citizens that their vote is respected and lack of interest in exercising the voting citizens of this District manifest. It requires a change in strategy to counter abstention vote in the Federal Electoral District 12 Apatzingan, in order to ensure more free, responsible and reasoned vote in federal elections.

El presente trabajo muestra el abstencionismo reflejado mediante cifras de las elecciones federales de 1991 al año de 2006, en el Distrito Electoral Federal de Apatzingán, representadas en tablas y gráficas basado en las cifras oficiales publicadas por el Instituto Federal Electoral desde su creación en 1991 y hasta la última elección organizada al año 2006. Se analizaron las causas del abstencionismo presentado en este Distrito, veremos por medio de una encuesta los motivos que los ciudadanos argumentamos para no acudir el día de la jornada a ejercer el voto. Mediante las estadísticas, gráficas y tablas de las elecciones federales de 1991 al 2006, se refleja el aumento en la abstención en el Distrito Electoral Federal de Apatzingán y los cambios que se han dado a través de cada una de las elecciones federales celebradas. Los resultados encontrados permiten afirmar que el abstencionismo en el Distrito Electoral Federal de Apatzingán, es generado por la falta de credibilidad de los ciudadanos de que su voto sea respetado y la falta de interés de ejercer el voto que los ciudadanos de este Distrito manifiestan. Se requiere de un cambio en la estrategia para contrarrestar el abstencionismo del voto en el Distrito Electoral Federal 12 Apatzingán, con el propósito de garantizar una mayor votación libre, responsable y razonada en las elecciones federales.
