Resumen : The introduction of organisms has been a problem for many ecosystems. The fish of the family Poeciliidae, are organisms that are commonly introduced, and can reach to alter the native populations. In the Teuchitlán river, there are three non-native species of fish: Poecilia sphenops, Pseudoxiphophorus bimaculatus and Xiphophorus hellerii. The studies of these populations are important since the information generated helps to propose an adequate management of them. Therefore, the objective of this study was to determine the population dynamics of three non-native fish populations of the Teuchitlán river. Five sampling sites were classified, in which physicochemical variables were taken, the samplings were monthly for one day, from february 2016 to february 2018, and for three consecutive days from october 2016 to october 2017. Organisms were captured with minnow traps, subsequently the organisms were measured (mm), were weighed (g) and the sex was recorded, the organisms from october 2016 to october 2017 were marked individually with elastomers. With the physicochemical variables, principal components analysis was carried out. On the other hand, three size classes were established for each population, the spatio-temporal variation of the general abundance and size classes abundance was determined, equally the sexual proportions were estimated with a test of 2. With the data of the marking-recapture model, the recruitment (f), survival () and population growth (λ) rates were determined. The general abundance and the size classes abundance did not show significant variations over time, on the contrary, spatially abundance presented significant differences, P. sphenops was more abundant in site five, while P. bimaculatus and X. hellerii in site three. The size class II was the most abundant both in space and time, a higher proportion of females was obtained in the three populations.
