Proceso de enfermería con el referente teórico de Dorothea E. Orem aplicado a un caso clínico de diabetes mellitus tipo II

Abstract

The Nursing Process is used to identify, diagnose and treat human responses to health and illness (Potter et al.2002). The Nursing Process is of vital importance since thanks to this the patient reaches a speedy recovery; becoming self-sufficient, in the same way she adapts to her illness. As well as quality care is provided. This Process is applied in the care of a patient with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, considering the importance of this disease, since in the community of Jeruco morbidity in this has a high percentage.

El Proceso Enfermero se emplea para identificar, diagnosticar y tratar las respuestas humanas ante la salud y la enfermedad (Potter et al.2002). El Proceso de Enfermería es de vital importancia ya que gracias a este la paciente llega a una pronta recuperación; llegando a ser autosuficiente, de la misma forma se adapta a su enfermedad. Como también se le brinda un cuidado de calidad. Se aplica este Proceso en el cuidado de una paciente con Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2, considerando la importancia que tiene esta enfermedad, ya que en la comunidad de Jéruco la morbilidad en esta tiene un alto porcentaje
