Calidad de vida en paciente con artritis reumatoide 30-70 años en Turicato, Michoacán

Abstract

Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic systemic inflammatory disease of unknown etiology that primarily affects the joints systemically and centripetally. In the San Cristóbal de los Guajes Community, in the Municipality of Turicato, Michoacán, more than 10% of the elderly suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, source civil registry. Basic folder 2011-2012. Therefore, one of the greatest challenges was to investigate the knowledge of the quality of life that patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis have between 30 and 70 years of age in Turicato, Michoacán. It was observed that this population with Rheumatoid Arthritis disease does not have the necessary knowledge to have a better quality of life, and if they are treated in a timely and adequate manner, in most patients they can lead a practically normal life, even if they have to use long-term medications, avoiding deformities and joint destruction. During the experience lived in the health center, the conclusion is reached that in order to have a good quality of life, it is necessary to promote and prevent this health problem, reducing unnecessary costs to the individual, family and community.

La Artritis Reumatoide es una enfermedad inflamatoria sistémica crónica de etiología desconocida que afecta primariamente las articulaciones de forma sistémica y centrípeta. En la Comunidad San Cristóbal de los Guajes, del Municipio de Turicato, Michoacán, más de 10% de los mayores de edad sufren artritis reumatoide, fuente registro civil. Carpeta básica 2011- 2012. Por lo cual uno de los mayores desafíos fue investigar los conocimientos de la calidad de vida que tienen los pacientes con Artritis Reumatoide 30-70 años en Turicato, Michoacán. Se observó que esta población con enfermedad de Artritis Reumatoide no tiene el conocimiento necesario para tener una mejor calidad de vida, y si se atienden de manera oportuna y adecuada, en la mayoría de los pacientes puede llevar una vida prácticamente normal, aunque tengan que usar medicamentos a largo plazo, evitando deformidades y destrucción articular. Durante la experiencia vivida en el centro de salud se llega a la conclusión, que para tener una buena calidad de vida es necesario la promoción y prevención de este problema de salud, reduciendo costos innecesarios al individuo familia y comunidad.
