Tipos de violencia en pareja en las mujeres que acuden al Centro de Salud Urbano de Apatzingán, Michoacán

Abstract

It is the use of physical force, threats against oneself, another person, a group or a community that has the probable consequence of trauma, psychological damage, development problems or, in extreme cases, death. The most common types of intimate partner violence are: physical, psychological, sexual and economic. This research aimed to: identify the types of partner violence in women who attend an Urban Health Center in Apatzingán, Michoacán. METHODOLOGY: Quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 200 women from Apatzingán between 14 and 50 years of age who attended different services at the Urban Health Center of Apatzingán who were randomly recruited. The instrument used in this research is "Violence in a heterosexual couple" validated by Delgadillo 2005, for the female population of the state of Mexico. (a = 0.81) and is made up of four areas. Economic violence, psychological violence, physical violence, sexual violence. RESULTS: A total of 200 surveyed women between 18 and 50 years of age were obtained. 70% are married and 100% are Catholic, 28%. It was found that the greatest type of violence that occurs is Psychological. CONCLUSIONS: The type of violence that occurs most frequently in women is psychological, however, all the women surveyed stated at least once having had an episode of violence either; economic, psychological, physical or sexual.

Es el uso de la fuerza física, amenazas contra uno mismo, otra persona, un grupo o una comunidad que tiene como consecuencia probable un traumatismo, daños psicológicos, problemas de desarrollo o en casos extremos la muerte. Los tipos de violencia en pareja más comunes son: física, psicológica, sexual y económica. Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo: identificar los tipos de violencia de pareja en las mujeres que acuden a un Centro de Salud Urbano de Apatzingán, Michoacán. METODOLOGÍA: Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo y transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 200 mujeres de Apatzingán de entre 14 a 50 años de edad que acudieran a diferentes servicios al Centro de Salud Urbano de Apatzingán que fueron captadas de forma aleatoria. El Instrumento que se utilizó en esta investigación es “Violencia en Pareja heterosexual” validada por Delgadillo 2005, para la población femenil del estado de México. (a=0.81) y está conformada por cuatro áreas. Violencia económica, violencia psicológica, violencia física, violencia sexual. RESULTADOS: Se obtuvo un total de 200 mujeres encuestadas de entre 18 y 50 años de edad. El 70% están casadas y el 100% son católicas, el 28 %. Se encontró que el mayor tipo de violencia que se presenta es la Psicológica. CONCLUSIONES: El tipo de violencia que se presenta con mayor frecuencia en las mujeres es la psicológica, sin embargo, todas las mujeres encuestadas manifestaron por lo menos una vez haber tenido algún episodio de violencia ya sea; económica, psicológica, física o sexual.
