La sustentabilidad en la proveeduría de la industria textil de México: un análisis cualitativo-cuantitativo comparado

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the necessary and sufficient conditions to generate sustainability in the textile industry of Mexico. This research selected the approach derived from the qualitative comparative analysis (QCA), as an appropriate methodological tool to determine the different configurations that lead to the same outcome. The results obtained show two routes that can be followed to achieve the desired outcome. It should be highlighted the finding of seven conditions that are necessary and or sufficient to achieve sustainability in the textile industry of Mexico. Being these conditions the Social Security law, the federal job laws, economic income, taxes, chemical emissions to the air, chemical emissions to the water, chemical emissions to the ground. Finally, it is concluded with the finding of the central causal conditions that would be the seven mentioned and the rest to be considered peripheral causal conditions.

La presente investigación tiene el propósito de identificar las condiciones necesarias y suficientes que generan una sustentabilidad en la industria textil y del vestido en México. Se seleccionó el enfoque que se deriva del análisis cualitativo comparativo (Qualitative Comparative Analysis, QCA), como una herramienta metodológica adecuada para determinar las diferentes configuraciones que llevan a un mismo resultado. Los resultados obtenidos muestran 2 rutas que pueden seguir estas empresas para alcanzar el resultado deseado. Se debe resaltar en esta investigación siete condiciones suficientes y/o necesarias para lograr la sustentabilidad en la industria textil y del vestido en México. Siendo estas condiciones la ley del seguro social, la ley federal del trabajo, ingresos económicos, impuestos, emisiones químicas al aire, emisiones químicas al agua, emisiones químicas al suelo. Por último, se concluye con la definición de las condiciones causales centrales que vendrían siendo las siete condiciones mencionadas mientras que las demás son consideradas condiciones causales periféricas.
