El cuerpo poético en Heidegger

Abstract

This paper emerges from the accusation leveled by prominent philosophers against Martin Heidegger for failing to address the problem of the body in Being and Time, specifically for not considering Dasein as a corporeal entity. Our research confirms that while the problem of the body is not explicitly developed in Being and Time, Dasein’s corporeality is indeed implicitly considered—especially in the Zollikon Seminars, where Heidegger engages with the concepts of the Körper (physical body) and the Leib (lived body), notions previously explored by Husserl. We begin by examining the state of the question to demonstrate that addressing the body as Körper was not pertinent within the framework of Being and Time, given that Heidegger was not interested in anthropologizing Dasein. However, upon reviewing the fundamental concepts of his philosophy, we find that the relation to the body is present both in its physical and experiential dimensions. This study proposes that the human body, understood as Dasein, serves as the mediation with Being, and that art —as poiesis—reveals the truth of the body as a poetic body. This poetic body is not a category added to the distinction between Körper and Leib, but rather a superior mode of inhabiting corporeality. It represents the possibility for Dasein, as a human being in its existential openness, to recognize its body as a medium of creation, communication, and transformation of the world into a body that not only lives but also brings the world into existence by poetizing it through its aesthetic, ethical, and ontological engagement with intramundane entities. The poetic body is thus proposed as a new way to rethink the relationship between Dasein, its corporeality, and the world it inhabits. Heidegger’s call to poetically dwell in the world is ultimately embodied in the poetic body, whose poetic language brings the world into being.

Este escrito surge del señalamiento que se hizo a Martin Heidegger, por parte de importantes filósofos de no haber tratado el problema del cuerpo en Ser y Tiempo, de no haber considerado al Dasein como un ente corpóreo. Nuestra investigación muestra que, efectivamente, el problema del cuerpo no fue desarrollado explícitamente en Ser y Tiempo, pero si fue considerada la corporeidad del Dasein implícitamente, sobre todo en los Seminarios de Zollikon, donde trata el cuerpo Körper (físico) y el cuerpo Leib (vivido), cuerpos ya tratados por Husserl. Primero, se estudia el estado de la cuestión, para mostrar que el problema del cuerpo, como cuerpo Körper, no era pertinente desarrollarlo en Ser y Tiempo, pues no fue el interés de Heidegger de antropologizar al Dasein. Al revisar los conceptos fundamentales de su filosofía estaba presente la relación con el cuerpo en su dimensión física, pero también, en su dimensión vivencial. Se estableció la tesis de que el cuerpo del ser humano, como Dasein, sea la mediación con el ser y que el arte (como poíesis) sea el que revele la verdad del cuerpo, como cuerpo poético. El cuerpo poético, no es una categoría añadida a las distinciones entre Körper y Leib, sino una forma superior de habitar la corporalidad. Representa la posibilidad de que el Dasein como ser humano, en su apertura existencial, reconozca su cuerpo como un medio de creación, comunicación y transformación del mundo; cuerpo que no solo vive, sino que también hace existir al mundo, poetizándolo mediante su interacción estética, ética y ontológica, con los entes intramundanos. El cuerpo poético una propuesta para repensar la relación entre el Dasein, su corporalidad y el mundo que habita. La invitación de Heidegger de habitar poéticamente el mundo se da en un cuerpo poético, cuyo lenguaje poético crea mundo.
