�ndice de desarrollo humano ajustado a la percepción de bienestar subjetivo, para la medición del desarrollo humano en un marco cuali-cuantitativo

Abstract

Taking into account the methodological gap that exists between the quantitative framework and the qualitative framework, this research centers on finding a way to facilitate the homologation of qualitative and quantitative measurements on human development, to achieve this, the standardized calculation approach technique is used to readjust the formulas through which the three dimensions selected as variables by the popularly known Human Development Index are measured, this was achieved by selecting specific results from six dimensions evaluated by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI in its original language), through the National Survey of Self-Reported Well-Being (ENBIARE in its original language), in Mexico. The results obtained by applying the selected methodology will allow us to understand the impact of the variables of health, education and income, perceived through the evaluation by the population in these dimensions, as well as the type of relationship between both frameworks for each Federal Entity of Mexico, at the same time to understand the problematic nature of the gap when continuing to measure these variables only with quantitative indicators, with life expectancy, enrollment rate, literacy rate and gross domestic product, to be carried out in conjunction with a framework where the impact that the population reports through a multidimensional evaluation of their life is also taken into account. The qualitative-quantitative results obtained, in addition to confirming the gap initially raised with the hypothesis, to a greater degree, proved that it is possible to make a methodological adjustment that generates multidimensional results, which is why it is considered viable to suggest the use of the designed instrument in future research on human development.

Atendiendo a la brecha metodológica que existe entre el marco cuantitativo y el marco cualitativo, la presente investigación se enfoca en encontrar la manera de facilitar la homologación de mediciones cualitativas y cuantitativas sobre desarrollo humano, para lograrlo se utiliza la técnica �enfoque de cálculo estandarizado�, para reajustar las fórmulas a través de las cuales se miden las tres dimensiones seleccionadas como variables por el popularmente conocido �ndice de Desarrollo Humano, lo que se logró al seleccionar resultado específicos de seis dimensiones evaluadas por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía, por medio de la Encuesta Nacional de Bienestar Autorreportado, en México. El objetivo de los resultados obtenidos al aplicar la metodología seleccionada es que podremos conocer, de las variables de salud, educación e ingreso, el impacto percibido a través de la evaluación por la población en estas dimensiones, así como el tipo de relación entre ambos marcos para cada Entidad Federativa de México al mismo tiempo entender lo problemático de la brecha al continuar midiendo estas variables solo con indicadores cuantitativos, se sugiere que se debería realizar el cálculo de IDH en conjunto con un marco en donde se toma también en cuenta el impacto que la población reporta a través de una evaluación multidimensional de su vida. Los resultados cuali-cuantitativos que se obtuvieron, además de confirmar la brecha planteada inicialmente con la hipótesis, en un mayor grado, probaron que es posible realizar un ajuste metodológico que genere resultados multidimensionales, por lo que se considera viable sugerir el uso del instrumento diseñado en futuras investigaciones sobre el desarrollo humano.
