Determinación de parámetros para la estabilidad de taludes en roca, mediante la caracterización en materiales de la región de Morelia

Abstract

This paper will explore the rocky material in the region of Morelia, performing a characterization of discontinuities in rock masses of representative rocks the city (andesite and rhyolite) in discontinuities as they are the ones that determine the resistant, deformational and hydraulic behavior massifs. To perform the characterization will require on-site and laboratory tests. The field tests will measure the properties of the rock mass in its natural state and condition and laboratory tests allow us to quantify the physical and mechanical properties of the rock matrix which define their mechanical behavior properties. First the search and analysis of information concerning the study of rocks and also the search and analysis of information pertaining to the area of ​​study will be conducted as they are, geological, hydrological, land use, etc. It will be held and studied the materials of the region characterizing the materials and discontinuities to study. To do this, they will be obtained through in situ and laboratory criteria and the application of empirical correlations trials. The tests are tests used to determine the physical and mechanical properties. To determine the physical properties of durability test, density test, absorption test and accelerated weathering test was performed. For the mechanical properties direct shear tests, test on flat surfaces esclerómetro the rock matrix, simple compression test and point load test will be performed. Finally the results of the tests were analyzed and the quality of the materials that will determine the stability of the slopes studied will be determined, and inclinations will determine whether or not they are susceptible to failure in these areas of study.

El presente trabajo estudiará los materiales rocosos de la región de Morelia, realizando una caracterización de las discontinuidades en macizos rocosos de rocas representativas de la ciudad (andesita y riolita) en discontinuidades ya que son las que condicionan el comportamiento resistente, deformacional e hidráulico de los macizos. Para realizar la caracterización se requerirá realizar ensayos In situ y en laboratorio. Los ensayos In situ medirán las propiedades de los macizos rocosos en su estado y condiciones naturales y los ensayos en laboratorio nos permitirán cuantificar las propiedades físicas y mecánicas de la matriz rocosa que definen su comportamiento mecánico. Primeramente se realizará la búsqueda y análisis de información referente al estudio de rocas e igualmente la búsqueda y análisis de información correspondiente a la zona de estudio como son, datos geológicos, hidrológicos, uso de suelo, etc. Se realizará y estudiarán los materiales de la región caracterizando los materiales y las discontinuidades que estudiemos. Para ello, se obtendrán mediante ensayos In situ y de laboratorio, la aplicación de criterios y correlaciones empíricas. Los ensayos que se emplearán serán pruebas para determinar las propiedades físicas y mecánicas. Para determinar las propiedades físicas se realizará ensayo de durabilidad, ensayo de densidad, ensayo de absorción y ensayo de intemperismo acelerado. Para las propiedades mecánicas se realizarán ensayos de corte directo, ensayo con esclerómetro en superficies planas de la matriz rocosa, ensayo de compresión simple y ensayo de carga puntual. Finalmente se analizarán los resultados obtenidos de los ensayos y se determinará la calidad de los materiales que determinará la estabilidad de los taludes estudiados, y determinaremos si las inclinaciones son o no son susceptibles de falla en esas zonas de estudio.
