Abstract

At the moment in The Cañada of the Eleven Towns located in the northwest of Michoacán, the concern exists and it has been informed on the vast cultural patrimony with which they count, especially for the buildings of religious character that are fundamental in the daily life of these populations. So that this document seeks the conservation and restoration of Sacred Tomás Apostle's Temple, in Sacred Tomás Municipio of Chilchota. So that it lasts for but centuries like vestige of the origin and the evolution of this community. The used method, it is based on the prospecting from the general thing to the particular thing, landing with the meticulous rising so much graphic as documental of the causes and effects that originate the deteriorations of the Temple, as well as the respective photographic rising to supplement and to be used in later restorations, by means of the technical records of support. With the obtained data of the prospecting one carries out the analysis from the historical point of view, taking the importance of happening and narration of the one happened. Being the investigation in the place and historical time of the property. Leaving of the history macro, bony the general context where the property is located; and the history micro that is the concrete biography of the property, not only taking as historical source that written if not also the testimony of the property. Parallelly the archaeological information of the property is analyzed, as well as an architectural analysis of the same one that she/he understands the functional, environmental, expressive analysis, structural system, materials and constructive systems and facilities and complements. Culminated with a I diagnose and concrete verdict. The result of the investigation hurtles that the main deteriorations that should be counteracted short term in the Temple they are: the humidities in walls and interior floor, cracking in the vertexes of the walls, and the restructuring of the cover and roof, as well as a general periodic maintenance.

Actualmente en La Cañada de los Once Pueblos ubicada en el noroeste de Michoacán, existe la preocupación y se ha concientizado sobre el vasto patrimonio cultural con que ellos cuentan, especialmente por los edificios de carácter religioso, que son fundamentales en la vida cotidiana de estas poblaciones. De manera que este documento pretende la conservación y restauración del Templo de Santo Tomás Apóstol, en Santo Tomás Municipio de Chilchota, con el fin de que perdure por más siglos como vestigio del origen y la evolución de dicha comunidad. El método empleado, se basa en la prospección desde lo general a lo particular, aterrizando con el levantamiento minucioso tanto grafico como documental de las causas y efectos que originan los deterioros del templo, así como el respectivo levantamiento fotográfico para complementar y ser usado en restauraciones posteriores, mediante las fichas técnicas de apoyo. Con los datos obtenidos de la prospección se realizó el análisis desde el punto de vista histórico, tomando la importancia del acaecer y narración del acaecido. Siendo la investigación en el lugar y tiempo histórico del inmueble. Partiendo de la historia macro, ósea el contexto general donde se sitúa el inmueble; y la historia micro, que es la biografía concreta del inmueble, tomando como fuente histórica no solamente lo escrito si no también el testimonio del inmueble. Paralelamente se analiza la información arqueológica del inmueble, así como un análisis arquitectónico del mismo, que comprende el análisis funcional, ambiental, expresivo, sistema estructural, materiales y sistemas constructivos e instalaciones y complementos. Culminado con un diagnóstico y dictamen concreto. El resultado de la investigación arrojo que los principales deterioros que se deben contrarrestar a corto plazo en el templo son: las humedades en muros y piso interior, agrietamiento en los vértices de los muros, y la restructuración de la cubierta y techumbre, así como un mantenimiento periódico general.
