Proyecto de integración de la antigua Escuela 20 de Noviembre en la Tenencia de Santa María

Abstract

To the south of the city of Morelia in the old town of Indians, Santa María de los Altos, town that was the largest of the thirteen villages of Indians and place of Augustinian visit; where it was the settlement of the Matlalcingas or Pirindas Indians, there is a property with historical and heritage value. The property was the former elementary school November 20, later Magisterio high school and originally summer house. For years he has suffered from abandonment and banditry while currently at risk; where all its terraces have collapsed, and it has undergone poor interventions; nevertheless, it is an important place for the population since it was the first primary school in the place. A study and surveys have been carried out to be able to develop a restoration project through “Integration Architecture” where the consolidation of the monument and recycling for a project such as Cultural Center is planned, with the idea that it regains its dignity and can be a space of inclusion, coexistence and dissemination of the arts, in which the different population centers that live in the possession, and that have different characteristics and interests, since they are on the one hand the original people of the town, foreigners who during the sixties and seventy came to live in the area, (being among them designers, artists of the glass, as well as investors and builders), on the other hand, residents of subdivisions and residential preserves in the area and residents of the area known as Lomas del Durazno and Trenches, zone of high marginalization and great needs of education, economic, development, etc., however an e spacio where the inhabitants of the Tenure can coincide and live together through culture, through different workshops, exhibition areas and coexistence.

Al sur de la ciudad de Morelia en el antiguo pueblo de indios, Santa María de los Altos, pueblo que fue el más grande de los trece pueblos de indios y lugar de visita agustina; en donde fuera asentamiento de los indios Matlalcingas o Pirindas, se encuentra un inmueble con valor histórico y patrimonial. El inmueble fue la antigua escuela primaria 20 de noviembre, posteriormente escuela secundaria Magisterio y originalmente casa de veraneo. Por años ha sufrido del abandono y vandalismo estando actualmente en riesgo; en donde todos sus terrados han colapsado, y que ha sufrido intervenciones deficientes; sin embargo, es un lugar importante para la población ya que fue la primera escuela primaria en el lugar. Se ha realizado un estudio y levantamientos necesarios para poder desarrollar un proyecto de restauración mediante “Arquitectura de Integración” en donde se planea la consolidación del monumento y reciclaje para un proyecto como Centro Cultural, con la idea que recupere su dignidad y pueda ser un espacio de inclusión, convivencia y difusión de las artes, en el cual los diversos núcleos de población que conviven en la tenencia, y que tienen diferentes características e intereses, ya que están por un lado la gente originaria del pueblo, extranjeros que durante los años sesentas y setentas llegaron a vivir a la zona, (siendo entre ellos diseñadores, artistas del vidrio, así como inversionistas y constructores), por otro lado, moradores de fraccionamientos y cotos residenciales en la zona y moradores de la zona conocida como Lomas del Durazno y Trincheras, zona de alta marginación y grandes necesidades de educación, económicas, desarrollo, etc., sin embargo se planea un espacio en donde los habitantes de la Tenencia puedan coincidir y convivir por medio de la cultura, a través de diferentes talleres, áreas de exposición y convivencia.
