Competitividad internacional del sector agroindustrial de exportación en el Estado de Michoacán

Abstract

The present investigation has as its aim, to determine the ways in which are affected the quality, the price, the technological innovation, the environmental management, the market and the public agroindustrial policies in the international competitiveness of the agroindustrial sector of Michoacán's situation as well as to measure the performance of the competitiveness of the agroindustrial products of export. There was realized a very exhaustive theoretical review, from which the variables were derived, beginning with checking the classic theories that sustain the international trade, up to arriving at the theory of the competitive advantage, and finally checking both the models of competitiveness and the diverse studies that have been realized regarding the agroindustry. It was possible to state that the studies that have been realized specifically of the agroindustry in Michoacán, are minimal. This investigation provides a great contribution toward the formulation of decisions in the design of the public policies regarding the agroindustrial sector. Once having identified the problematics and deduced the hypotheses, the methodology was designed to be able to determine the incidence of the independent variables with the competitiveness and in this way to be able to measure it. Information was obtained from primary and secondary sources. For the first case there were located the agroindustrial companies that are exporting at the present, 51 being located; we used as instrument of compilation of information a questionnaire composed of 80 questions, which were constituted the variables with the indicators. For the processing of information is the Likert scale was used. Once the information was processed, different programs of calculation were used, such as the SPSS and the Eviews, applying statistical technologies such as analysis of frequencies, descriptive statistics, analysis correlacional, linear regression and attempts at hypothesis. Finally an index was constructed to measure the performance of the competitiveness using the technology AHP. With the obtained results it was possible to know the degree of correlation that exists between the independent and dependent and which variables verify its incident.

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo, Determinar la manera en que inciden la calidad, el precio, la innovación tecnológica, la gestión ambiental, el mercado y las políticas públicas agroindustriales en la competitividad internacional del sector agroindustrial del estado de Michoacán, así como medir el desempeño de la competitividad de los productos agroindustriales de exportación. Se realizó una revisión teórica muy exhaustiva, de donde se desprendieron las variables, comenzando por revisar las teorías clásicas que sustentan el comercio internacional hasta llegar a la teoría de la ventaja competitiva y finalmente revisando tanto modelos de competitividad como diversos estudios que se han realizado sobre la agroindustria. Donde se pudo constatar que los estudios que se han realizado específicamente de la agroindustria en Michoacán, son mínimos. Por lo que esta investigación proporciona un gran aporte para la toma de decisiones en el diseño de las políticas públicas del sector agroindustrial. Una vez identificado la problemática, se dedujeron las hipótesis y se diseñó la metodología para poder determinar la incidencia de las variables independientes con la competitividad y así poder medirla. Se recabó información de fuentes primarias y secundarias. Para el primer caso se ubicaron las empresas agroindustriales que actualmente están exportando, localizándose 51; se utilizó como instrumento de recolección de información un cuestionario compuesto por 80 preguntas, que las constituían las variables con sus indicadores. Para el procesamiento de información se utilizó la escala tipo Likert. Una vez procesada la información se utilizaron diferentes programas de cómputo como el SPSS y el Eviews, aplicando técnicas estadísticas como análisis de frecuencias, estadística descriptiva, análisis correlacional, regresión lineal y prueba de hipótesis. Finalmente se construyó un índice para medir el desempeño de la competitividad utilizando la técnica AHP. Con los resultados obtenidos se pudo conocer el grado de correlación que existe entre las variables independientes y dependientes y así comprobar su incidencia.
