Abstract

As in any structure, the knowledge of the seismic behavior of these allows to define the mechanisms and reinforcement actions required for the reduction of the effects caused by the movements of the land, so that having the adequate understanding of the seismic threat existing in the buildings of historical type, so it is important to find the appropriate way to evaluate various modifications that evaluate their correct structural behavior, contributing to an adequate preservation of historical monuments and preventing them from having large losses of this cultural heritage. It can be clearly seen that the areas of damage in these types of structures do have a recurring pattern, and can be corroborated with the information observed in the field, so do this type of analysis if it is feasible to give us the failure mechanisms and the degree of damage that this type of structures can have can have. In this way, with the information obtained, adequate restoration work can be carried out aimed at preserving and protecting our heritage correctly.

Como en toda estructura el conocimiento del comportamiento sísmico de estas permite definir los mecanismos y acciones de refuerzo requeridos para la reducción de los efectos provocados por los movimientos del terreno, de modo que al tener el entendimiento adecuado de la amenaza sísmica existente en los edificios de tipo histórico, por lo que es importante encontrar la manera adecuada de evaluar dichas edificaciones que permitan evaluar su comportamiento estructural correctamente, contribuyendo a una adecuada preservación de los monumentos históricos y evitando que se tengan grandes pérdidas de este patrimonio cultural. Se puede observar claramente que las zonas de daño en este tipo de estructuras si presentan un patrón recurrente, y se pueden corroborar con la información observada en campo, por lo que hacer este tipo de análisis si es viable para darnos de los mecanismos de falla y él grado de daño que este tipo de estructuras puede tener puede tener. , de esta manera con la información obtenida se pueden realizar los trabajos adecuados de restauración encaminados a conservar y proteger de manera correcta nuestro patrimonio.
