Abstract: Unmet Need in women in fertile age who go to the external familiar medicine consultation. Objectives. To describe to the factors related to the unmet need existence of familiar planning in the women in fertile age of the UMF 80. Methods. Observacional, descriptive and cross-sectional study. Population of study: women in fertile age who went to the UMF #80 in the city of Morelia, Mich. They were selected randomly to women in fertile age who went to the external familiar Medicine consultation for the application of the survey previously validated, where identified sociodemographic data, antecedent ginecololy, sexual life, intentions of reproductive life, knowledge and practice of contraception and the reasons not to use contraceptive methods. Results. Of 100 women, 54% do not use any method of familiar planning and 46% plan. 63 women referred satisfied parity and 37 had unmet need of familiar planning. The reasons for dissatisfaction were insufficient information or distorted on the indirect effect, presence of collateral effects with the use of contraceptives previously, does not create to be embarrassed by the fact that its pair is the one that takes care of them to avoid a pregnancy.
Necesidad insatisfecha en mujeres en edad fértil que acuden a la consulta externa de medicina familiar. Objetivos. Describir los factores relacionados a la existencia de necesidad insatisfecha de planificación familiar en las mujeres en edad fértil de la UMF no.80 Material y Métodos. Estudio observacional, descriptivo y transversal. Población de estudio: mujeres en edad fértil que acudieron a la UMF #80 en la ciudad de Morelia, Michoacán. Se seleccionarán aleatoriamente a mujeres en edad fértil que acudieron a la consulta externa de Medicina familiar a las cuales se aplicó una encuesta donde se identificaran datos sociodemográficos, antecedentes ginecoobstétricos, vida sexual, intenciones de vida reproductiva, conocimiento y práctica de anticoncepción y los motivos para no utilizar métodos anticonceptivos. Resultados. De 100 mujeres encuestadas, el 54% no utilizó ningún método de planificación familiar y 46% si planificó. 63% refirieron paridad satisfecha y 37% manifestaron necesidad insatisfecha de Planificación familiar. Los motivos de insatisfacción fueron información insuficiente o distorsionada sobre los efectos secundarios, presencia de efectos colaterales con el uso de anticonceptivos, no creían la posibilidad de embarazo.
