Zusammenfassung: Nephrotic Syndrome is the most frequent chronic glomerular disease in pediatrics, in the United States it has an annual incidence of 2.0 to 2.7 cases per 100,000 children, and an accumulated prevalence of 16 per 100,000, a figure similar to that reported in European literature, there are few reports in Mexico that speak of the real incidence of such a disease. The Children's Hospital of Morelia lacks at the moment of situational information referring to such pathology, so it is intended to detail it in this study. In addition to being the basis for continuing studies regarding the behavior of our patients. Materials and Methods: A retrospective, observational, descriptive and analytical cohort study was conducted on patients with nephrotic syndrome who attended the outpatient service of pediatric nephrology and hospitalization, in addition to emphasizing those who underwent renal biopsy (previous indication of it) and histopathological study as part of the diagnostic approach to kidney disease in the period: 2015-2017. By reviewing the clinical record, as well as reviewing the histopathological reports to estimate the incidence of nephrotic syndrome in the Hospital, determine by age, sex and place of residence, as well as identify the most frequent histopathological finding and thus compare with the literature international. Results: We obtained the report of 82 patients with a diagnosis of nephrotic syndrome, finding that there is a predominance in the male sex in 65% of the cases, the municipality that reported the highest number of cases was Morelia with 14 cases, the age of presentation Most frequent was at 4 years of age. The average number of patients who underwent renal biopsy was 24% and the most frequent histopathological finding was nephropathy due to IgM deposits.
