Construcción de educación electoral y competencias cívicas en la docencia jurídica

Abstract

The current training of professionals in the area of ​​legal sciences requires an adequate comprehensive preparation and involving optimal training where they develop various skills, skills and ways of thinking in order to bring the right to a field of application of true justice , Coherence and freedom. For this, one of the elements that must form such an integral and complex formation in the construction of future lawyers is constituted by the Electoral Education and Civic Competences emanated from it, which is based and justified in the necessity that it represents to implement at present Aspects related to civic-democratic culture among the citizens and professionals of tomorrow. In this sense, it is a fact that in the teaching processes within the training of lawyers on several occasions the importance of civic education is left aside by means of a citizen education that allows to give the students the necessary tools to integrate Society and the world of work as active and participatory agents with capacities of assessment and analysis on various situations that allow to put into practice adequate solutions and in accordance with the prevailing needs through the exercise of Law as a legal and social instrument.

La formación actual de profesionistas en el área de las ciencias jurídicas requiere de una preparación integral adecuada y que involucre una formación óptima en donde se desarrollen diversas habilidades, destrezas y formas de pensar a fin de llevar el Derecho a un campo de aplicación de verdadera justicia, coherencia y libertad. Para ello, uno de los elementos que deben conformar tal formación integral y compleja en la construcción de futuros abogados lo constituye la Educación Electoral y las Competencias Cívicas emanadas de la misma, lo que se fundamenta y justifica en la necesidad que representa implementar en la actualidad aspectos relacionados con la cultura cívica-democrática entre los ciudadanos y profesionistas del mañana. En ese sentido, constituye una realidad el hecho de que en los procesos de enseñanza dentro de la formación de abogados en diversas ocasiones se deja de lado la importancia de la formación cívica mediante una educación ciudadana que permita brindar a los educandos las herramientas necesarias para integrarse a la sociedad y al mundo laboral como agentes activos y participativos con capacidades de valoración y análisis sobre diversas situaciones que permitan poner en práctica soluciones adecuadas y acordes a las necesidades imperantes mediante el ejercicio del Derecho como instrumento jurídico y social.
