Zusammenfassung: TiO2 photocatalysts doped with magnetite of different forms and different concentrations of iron were prepared using the microwave assisted sol-gel method. The photocatalytic activities of TiO2-Magnetite-Fe with different amounts were evaluated for the degradation of acid blue dye 9 with UV light and visible light. Photocatalytic degradation was also discussed in terms of the wavelength and photon energy. The X-ray diffraction patterns showed that the nanoparticles are dominated by an anatase phase and found a rapid transition from the rutile phase which is present from 400-700 ° C in the nanometer scale range. Due to the size, the dopant amount has effective photodegradation property. A 0.025% magnetite doping facilitates photocatalytic activity in the UV and Visible region, achieving degradations of 100% in 70 min with UV and 70% in 110 min with visible light. The presence of the magnetite also helps the Bandgap decrease in the photocatalysts, which were between 2,625-3,127eV. Potential Z in these photocatalysts showed that the isoelectric point is at an acidic pH of about 3 to 3.8 units. Therefore, this research makes it possible to use photocatalysts with energy savings when working in the visible region.
