Reflexión sobre el concepto de inteligencia artificial desde el concepto de inteligencia sentiente de X. Zubiri

Abstract

At the core of artificial intelligence and sentient intelligence is the notion of formalization. Around this statement, the following is intended to be answered: what is there in sentient intelligence that cannot be found in artificial intelligence? The answer is that there is respectivity. The hypothesis is that in sentient intelligence the formalization is respective and in the artificial it is recursive; and that this is precisely what is missing in artificial intelligence. Not only what do we find in one and not in the other, but precisely respectivity is sufficiently constitutive of human intelligence, it is what makes it possible for there to be other qualities, categories or secondary levels. To maintain the hypothesis, it is necessary to put some pillars that support the conclusion. These pillars seek to prepare the context of the concept of artificial intelligence and sentient intelligence and make clear what aspects can be found in the analysis of these two ways of understanding intelligence. It could be said that such an analysis responds to the why of the hypothesis: why is respectivity so important in sentient intellection? If, as a conclusion, it is affirmed that the difference between one intelligence and the other is respectivity, the conceptual detour that is at the center of the investigation answers the question about why such a conclusion is sustained: why is sentient intelligence respective? In what does this respectivity consist? In what position is respectivity found in the structural framework of sentient intelligence? What is the relationship between formalization and respectivity? What is formalization like, not as respectivity, but as formalization? what does it formalize?

En el núcleo de la inteligencia artificial y de la inteligencia sentiente se encuentra la noción de formalización. Alrededor de esa afirmación se pretende responder lo siguiente: ¿qué hay en la inteligencia sentiente que no es posible encontrar en la inteligencia artificial?. La respuesta es que lo que hay es la respectividad. La hipótesis es que en la inteligencia sentiente la formalización es respectiva y en la artificial recursiva; y que eso es justamente lo que falta en la inteligencia artificial. No solamente qué encontramos en una y en otra no, sino que justamente la respectividad es suficientemente constitutiva de la inteligencia humana, es lo que posibilita que hayan otras cualidades, categorías o niveles secundarios. Para mantener la hipótesis, hay que poner algunos pilares que soporten la conclusión. Esos pilares buscan preparar el contexto del concepto de inteligencia artificial y de inteligencia sentiente y dejar en claro qué aspectos se pueden encontrar en el análisis de estas dos maneras de entender la inteligencia. Podría decirse que tal análisis responde al por qué de la hipótesis: ¿por qué la respectividad es tan importante en la intelección sentiente? Si como conclusión se afirma que la diferencia entre una inteligencia y la otra es la respectividad, el rodeo conceptual que se encuentra en el centro de la investigación responde a la pregunta acerca del por qué se sostiene tal conclusión: ¿por qué la inteligencia sentiente es respectiva? ¿en qué consiste esta respectividad? ¿en qué posición se encuentra la respectividad en el entramado estructural de la inteligencia sentiente? ¿cuál es la relación entre la formalización y la respectividad? ¿cómo es la formalización no en tanto respectividad, sino en tanto formalización? ¿qué es lo que formaliza?
