Zusammenfassung: Modified landscapes, as a consequence of habitat loss and fragmentation impose different levels of resistance, which can impede or promote the movement of individuals. The degree to which the landscape facilitates or restricts the movement of organisms is called functional connectivity. The tropical dry forest (TDF) is an ecosystem under one of the highest rates of deforestation and transformation, which can affect the movement of the species inhabiting it. Using two approaches and at two different geographical scales, I evaluated the functional connectivity of the Mexican Leaf Frog (Agalychnis dacnicolor) through the TDF of the Pacific slope. For the first approximation and on a geographic scale of approximately 30,000 km2 (Jalisco and Colima), I used the circuit and graph theories to evaluate functional connectivity of A. dacnicolor between home range patches and patches of suitable habitat. I characterized the landscape using environmental layers and layers of anthropogenic activity obtained from different information sources that I integrated in a Geographic Information System. I converted the characterized landscape into a matrix with different resistance values to evaluate the connectivity of A. dacnicolor between home range patches and patches of suitable habitat. I found a pattern of high connectivity between the home range patches located within the Chamela-Cuixmala Biosphere Reserve and the patches surrounding the reserve. On the other hand, I detected weak connectivity was detected in the west (Tomatlán, Jalisco) and southeast of the study area (Colima), probably due to fragmentation and low quality of the habitat that characterizes both areas.
