Aprehendiendo la realidad de la vejez humana desde la perspectiva metafísica y noológica de Xavier Zubiri

Abstract

The philosopher Xavier Zubiri pointed in his sentient intelligence trilogy the urgency of a philosophy of actuality. The exercise of carrying out a specific topic such as human old age to a first philosophy, such as Zubiri`s philosophy, we believe, reaffirms this need. Tradition has led us to conceptualize old age as an accident of a subject, with what has been conceived, properly in a generalized way, as bad and negativity of man. It is, in this sense, that in the present research work, with the help of Zubiri`s metaphysical and noological thought, at the height of our times, the problem of human old age with a different perspective, with which this reality can be apprehended as one of the many actualities of the substantive system that is a man. This different conception of old age not only promotes a more positive approach to this stage of life, but also its appropriation.

El filósofo Xavier Zubiri señaló en su Trilogía Inteligencia Sentiente la urgencia de una filosofía de la actualidad. El ejercicio de llevar un tema concreto como es la vejez humana a una filosofía primera, como lo es la filosofía de Zubiri, creemos, reafirma esta necesidad. La tradición nos ha conducido a conceptuar la vejez como un accidente de un sujeto, con lo que se le ha concebido, propiamente de manera generalizada, como mal y negatividad del hombre. Es, en este sentido, que en el presente trabajo de investigación se aborda, con ayuda del pensamiento metafísico y noológico de Zubiri, a la altura de nuestros tiempos, el problema de la vejez humana con una perspectiva distinta, con la que esta realidad puede ser aprehendida como una de las muchísimas actualidades del sistema sustantivo que es un hombre. Esta distinta concepción de vejez no sólo promueve un enfoque más positivo de esta etapa de la vida, sino su apropiación.
