Abstract

In this thesis the structural analysis and design of a house-room, based on rules and regulations of construction is shown, this in order to show the importance of calculating each of the structural elements such as: columns, beams, castles, solid slabs, retaining walls, foundations, etc. Because when no calculations are performed and various dimensions are standardized, the structure could be overrun which would increase the cost of the work and the structural elements would not work in good or rare conditions, which would generate not withstand the loads and stresses which it will be submitted. The structural design should be conducted on the architectural design and have the purpose of structural elements that provide security and confidence that is quality construction, stable and very durable at the same time and thereby achieve the best performance both structure and the work in general. The structural design of the house-room is based on the Building Regulations of the Federal District (RCDF) as is used for the design of urban construction in the country. By the above it is important to note that the cost of a structural analysis and design for a home-room is not an unnecessary expense, as it provides greater security for both the builder and for the people who inhabit them. Hence the recommendation that others never for good design and structural analysis.

En la presente tesina se muestra el análisis y diseño estructural de una casa-habitación, basándose en normas y reglamentos de construcción, esto con la finalidad de mostrar la gran importancia del cálculo de cada uno de los elementos estructurales como son: columnas, trabes, castillos, losas macizas, muros de carga, cimentación, etc. Debido a que cuando no se realiza ningún cálculo y se estandarizan las diferentes dimensiones, la estructura podría estar sobrada lo que incrementaría el costo de la obra y los elementos estructurales no trabajarían en condiciones óptimas o escasas, lo cual generaría no resistir las cargas y esfuerzos a la que será sometida. El diseño estructural debe realizarse respetando el proyecto arquitectónico y tener la finalidad de que los elementos estructurales brindarán la seguridad y la confianza de saber que será una construcción de calidad, estable y muy durable a la vez y con esto lograr el mejor rendimiento tanto de la estructura como de la obra en general. El diseño estructural de la casa-habitación está basado en el Reglamento de Construcción del Distrito Federal (RCDF) ya que es el más usado para diseño de construcciones urbanas en el país. Por lo antes mencionado es importante señalar que el costo de un análisis y diseño estructural para una casa-habitación no es un gasto innecesario, ya que brinda una mayor seguridad tanto para el constructor, como para las personas que la habitarán. De ahí la recomendación de que nunca está por demás un buen diseño y análisis estructural.
