Abstract

This thesis aims to be a student support of civil engineering in the area of roads, to be more specific in the design of roads, since it is an explanation of how a road is designed and work on the following pages lives in field as well as the different teams that there are used, in order to give the reader a representative idea of what is the design and construction of these works usually works more work generated in the world, Clearly forget to start with building one must know the history of the roads in Mexico and the world, to get an idea of why the roads are built. Taking this into account and we will start giving a tour of the first transport routes built in the world, reaching what has been the development of roads in Mexico and its progress and development during the Porfirio Diaz, the revolution and growth it currently exists. Turning to what will be the second chapter, we will see how to design a path based on the rules of the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation, and already known the basics we can move the design by electronic means, which nowadays has become so fashionable , supporting the Civil Cad program, which has a specific module for the design of roads with the regulations of the SCT, and we greatly simplifies the laborious calculations that are performed in order to have concluded our project. Following the third chapter discusses the quality requirements of the materials needed in the construction of roads and determine whether or not it meets the specifications. In the last chapter we will discuss the fieldwork and some steps usually follow in the construction of this type of work, and some that are made in conservation, without also forgetting a listed machinery and the people in it works.

La presente tesis intenta ser un apoyo al estudiante de ingeniería civil en el área de vías terrestres, para ser más específico en el diseño de carreteras, ya que en las páginas siguientes se dará una explicación del cómo se diseña una carretera y el trabajo que se vive en campo, así como los diferentes equipos que ahí se usan, con el fin de que el lector tenga una idea representativa de lo que es el diseño y construcción de estas obras que suelen ser las obras que más trabajo generan en el mundo, sin olvidar claro que para poder iniciar con la construcción hay que conocer de la historia de las vías terrestres en México y el mundo, para poder tener una idea de el por qué se construyen las carreteras. Teniendo ya en cuenta esto, iniciaremos dando un viaje por las primeras vías de transporte construidas en el mundo, llegando así a lo que ha sido el desarrollo de los caminos en México así como su avance y desarrollo durante el porfiriato, la revolución y el crecimiento que actualmente se vive. Pasando a lo que será el segundo capítulo, veremos cómo se diseña un camino basándonos en la normativa de la Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes, y ya conocidas las bases podremos pasar al diseño por medios electrónicos, que en nuestros días se ha puesto tan de moda, apoyándonos del programa Civil Cad, el cual tiene un módulo específico para el diseño de caminos con las normativas de la SCT, y nos simplifica bastante los cálculos laboriosos que se llevan a cabo para poder tener nuestro proyecto concluido. Siguiendo al capítulo tercero analizaremos los requisitos de calidad de los materiales necesarios en la construcción de carreteras y determinar si se cumple o no con las especificaciones establecidas.
