Las carreteras o caminos son una vía de comunicación que se emplean para el transporte, de personas, alimentos, materiales, entre otras. En nuestro país las vialidades con las que actualmente contamos fueron construidas la gran mayoría hace cuarenta años desde entonces el tráfico y los sistemas de carga han ido en aumento poniendo en riesgo la capacidad estructural con la que fueron diseñados. El análisis del estado actual del pavimento se realizará por diferentes métodos, haciendo una descripción de manera sencilla y general de lo que trata cada método
