Resolución de la ecuación diferencial de consolidación de Terzagui aplicada a el fenómeno de subsidencia en un suelo arcilloso completamente saturado

Abstract

This thesis deals with the calculation of the deformation and dissipation of the interstitial pressures or neutral during the process of one-dimensional, two dimensional and three dimensional consolidation in saturated soils. The mathematical model to describe the deformation in the saturated soil is based on the theories of Terzagui and Biot, which their bases are the theory of elasticity and to the water phase the law of Darcy and the law of conservation of mass of the fluid. It begins to deal with the problems relating to the consolidation of soil in a simple manner, i.e. with several simplifications and assumptions in order to be able to solve with the equations involved, and then bring more to the reality the phenomenon of the consolidation of the soil two- and three-dimensional, which involves the problems become more complex and therefore more difficult to resolve. To model the deformations in the soil due to a change in the stress to which they are subjected and even change in their conditions will be used the theory of DR. Karl von Terzagui better known as the theory of consolidation of Terzagui. On the other hand will be taken into account for the computational programs modeled on the results of both theories above these, in addition the results were graphed over to a better understanding of the problems in soil mechanics. In the unidimensional case, because that is the easiest analyze the problem of soil consolidation then the two- and three-dimensional form were analyzed. Which involves each time a degree of much greater complexity in the calculations. The mathematical models used here are presented in a manner and discrete differential, which brings us to a problem of boundary conditions whose solution take us to approximate solution of the differential equations given in each theory mentioned above with the method of finite elements.

En este presente trabajo de tesis se aborda el cálculo de las deformaciones y disipación de las presiones intersticiales durante el proceso de consolidación Unidimensional, Bidimensional y Tridimensional en suelos saturados. El modelo matemático para describir la deformación en los suelos saturados se basa en las teorías de Terzagui y Biot. En las cuales sus bases son la teoría de la elasticidad y para la fase del agua, la ley de Darcy y la ley de la conservación de la masa del fluido. Se comienza a tratar los problemas referidos a la consolidación de suelos de manera sencilla, es decir con varias simplificaciones y suposiciones para poder resolver con más facilidad las ecuaciones involucradas, para después llevar más a la realidad el fenómeno de la consolidación de los suelos de manera bidimensional y tridimensional, lo cual involucra que los problemas se hagan más complejos y por lo tanto más difícil de resolver. Para modelar las deformaciones en los suelos debido a un cambio en los esfuerzos a los que están sometidos y aun cambio en sus condiciones se utilizara la Teoría de consolidación de Terzagui. Por otro lado, se tendrán en cuenta programas computacionales para el modelados de los resultados en ambas teorías anteriormente dichas, además se graficaran los resultados para un mejor entendimiento de los problemas referidos a la mecánica de suelos. En el caso unidimensional, ya que es lo más sencillo para después analizar el problema de la consolidación de suelos de forma Bidimensional y Tridimensional. Lo cual involucra cada vez un grado de complejidad mucho mayor en los cálculos.
