Proyecto de ingeniería básica para el relleno sanitario de la población de Tangancícuaro, Michoacán

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation is to carry out the project of a sanitary landfill for the municipality of Tangancícuaro. Currently this municipality has a problem regarding the issue of management and disposal of municipal solid waste. The purpose of this project is to propose: a good design, the most suitable place for the location and construction of the sanitary landfill, the dimensions with which it should count, the way in which it should be operated, as well as the methodology to be proposed. continue for its proper closure at the end of its useful life. In this document, we also present the type of material that will be used to avoid the infiltration of leachates into the soil, as well as the type of treatment that will be given to the biogas that is produced. The placement of monitoring wells will also be considered to ensure no damage to the environment. In essence, this work presents a viable alternative for the final disposal of municipal solid waste, which will serve as a support in decision-making by the municipal administration and governments that require it.

La finalidad de esta investigación, es llevar a cabo el proyecto de un relleno sanitario para el municipio de Tangancícuaro. Actualmente este municipio tiene una problemática en cuanto al tema de manejo y disposición de los residuos sólidos municipales. Este proyecto tiene como finalidad el de proponer: un buen diseño, el lugar más adecuado para la localización y construcción del relleno sanitario, las dimensiones con las que debe contar, la manera en que se deberá operar, así como también se propondrá la metodología a seguir para su correcta clausura al finalizar su vida útil. En este documento, se presenta también el tipo de material que se utilizará para evitar la infiltración de lixiviados al suelo, así como el tipo de tratamiento que se le dará al biogás que se produzca. También se considerará la colocación de pozos de monitoreo para asegurar no tener daños al medioambiente. En esencia, este trabajo presenta una alternativa viable para la disposición final de los residuos sólidos municipales, mismo que sirva de apoyo en la toma de decisiones por parte de la administración municipal y gobiernos que lo requieran.
