Propuesta de mejoramiento de la línea de conducción de agua potable del manantial San Gregorio a la población de Pátzcuaro, Michoacán

Abstract

This project was carried out at the initiative of OOAPAS personnel from the municipality of Pátzcuaro, Michoacán; to renovate the San Gregorio line that provides potable water to the population of Pátzcuaro, Michoacán; this is because the line of driving has been operating for more than 70 years; it is presumed that its useful life is over. In this work, a diagnosis of the pipeline was made, which resulted in problems associated with the material used in driving, as well as the location of the current driving line. It should be noted that due to the age it has, and the material with which the pipe is made, it compromises the current state, placing it in critical conditions. The document details the problems of the type of pipe with which this line of conduction is made, and the risks that can cause the consumption of drinking water from this line of pipe. It also shows the current outline and how it affects certain sectors, due to population growth; In addition, the hydraulic calculation of the current system is performed. The best performance was reviewed, seeking to improve efficiency in the medium and long term; the previous with base in change of pipe and rectification of the line of drinking water line. In order to have the project as close as possible to reality, it was necessary to take a tour and physically see the state of the driving line, to make an inventory of needs and problems detected; this with the purpose of improving the efficiency of the potable water supply for the town of Pátzcuaro, Michoacán.

Este proyecto se realizó por iniciativa de personal del OOAPAS del municipio de Pátzcuaro, Michoacán; para renovar la línea de conducción de San Gregorio que suministra agua potable a la población de Pátzcuaro, Michoacán; esto debido a que la línea de conducción tiene más de 70 años operando; se presume que su vida útil ya termino. En este trabajo se realizó un diagnóstico de la tubería, el cual arrojó como resultado, problemas asociados al material utilizado en la conducción, así como la localización de la línea de conducción actual. Es de advertir que debido a la antigüedad que esta tiene, y al material con la que está hecha la tubería, compromete el estado actual, situándola en condiciones críticas. En el documento se detallan los problemas del tipo de tubería con la que está elaborada esta línea de conducción, y los riesgos que puede ocasionar el consumo del agua potable de esta línea de tubería. También se muestra el trazo actual y como afecta a ciertos sectores, debido al crecimiento de la población; además se realiza el cálculo hidráulico del sistema actual. Se revisó el mejor funcionamiento, buscando el mejoramiento de la eficiencia a mediano y largo plazo; lo anterior con base en cambio de tubería y rectificación del trazo de la línea de conducción de agua potable. Con el objeto de tener el proyecto lo más apegado a la realidad, fue necesario hacer un recorrido y ver físicamente el estado de la línea de conducción, para realizar un inventario de necesidades y problemáticas detectadas; esto con la finalidad de mejorar la eficiencia del suministro de agua potable para la localidad de Pátzcuaro, Michoacán.
