Diseño de la red de alcantarillado sanitario de “La Estancia”, municipio de Huandacareo, Michoacán

Abstract

The sewage system or sanitation system is the set of pipes that is used for the collection and transfer of wastewater, rainwater or industrial water from the place where it is generated to the one that is dumped or treated. Normally they are built by pipes that work by atmospheric pressure under the public highway. The sewage network is considered a basic service, access to drinking water and sanitation is essential to prevent infectious diseases and protect the health of people. However, in developing countries it is minimal in relation to drinking water networks and this generates important health problems. The municipal authorities gave more importance to the drinking water network, relegating to the future the construction of the sewerage network. However, at present the existence of sewerage networks is a requirement to approve the construction of new developments in most of the nations. The following work presents the design of a sanitation system for the population of La Estancia, Municipality of Huandacareo, Michoacán, which is thought to work with great efficiency as it follows the necessary guidelines established by the agencies responsible for them.

Se denomina red de alcantarillado o red de saneamiento al conjunto de tuberías que se usa para la recogida y traslado de aguas residuales, pluviales o industriales desde el lugar en el que se generan hasta el que se vierten o se tratan. Normalmente están construidos por tuberías que funcionan por presión atmosférica bajo la vía pública. La red de alcantarillado se considera un servicio básico, el acceso al agua potable y al saneamiento es imprescindible para prevenir enfermedades infecciosas y proteger la salud de las personas. Sin embargo, en los países en desarrollo es mínimo en relación con las redes de agua potable y esto genera importantes problemas sanitarios. Las autoridades municipales daban más importancia a la red de agua potable, relegando a un futuro la construcción de la red de alcantarillado. Sin embargo, en la actualidad la existencia de redes de alcantarillado es un requisito para aprobar la construcción de nuevas urbanizaciones en la mayoría de las naciones. En el siguiente trabajo se presenta el diseño de una red de alcantarillado sanitario para la población de La Estancia, Municipio de Huandacareo, Michoacán la cual está pensada que funcione con gran eficiencia ya que sigue los lineamientos necesarios que marcan las dependencias responsables de los mismos.
