Calidades geotécnicas del banco de materiales “El Copalillo”, en el municipio de Villa Jiménez, Michoacán

Abstract

The present investigation entitled: Geotechnical qualities of the material bank "El copalillo", in the municipality of Villa Jiménez, Michoacán, was carried out through the analysis of the stone aggregates: hydraulic base, subgrade, sand and tepetate that are exploited in said municipality. and they are used for the construction of civil works in the region. With the authorization of the owner, the aggregates could be sampled to carry out in the laboratory the tests established in the manuals of the Secretariat of Communication and Transport (SCT) and the National Agency for Standardization and Certification of Construction and Building (ONNCCE) in order to know the geotechnical quality of the material bank. The tests carried out were the following: mesh granulometry (NMX-C-496-ONNCCE-2014), loose dry volumetric mass and rodded dry volumetric mass (NMX-C-073-ONNCCE-2004), density and absorption in coarse aggregate and fine (NMX-C-164-ONNCCE-2014 and NMX-C-165-ONNCCE-2014, respectively), consistency limits (NMX-C-493-ONNCCE-2018), sand equivalent according to the manual M-MMP- 4-04-004/02, standard dynamic and modified dynamic compaction (NMX-C-476-ONNCCE-2013), relative value of support (VRS) (NMX-C-416-ONNCCE-2003) and ratio of california support (CBR) ((NMX-C-522-ONNCCE-2016).

La presente investigación titulada “Calidades geotécnicas del banco de materiales “El copalillo”, en el municipio de Villa Jiménez, Michoacán”, se realizó a través de un análisis de los agregados pétreos: base hidráulica, subrasante, arena y tepetate que son explotados en dicho municipio y se les da uso para construcción de obras civiles en la región. Con autorización del propietario se pudieron muestrear los agregados para llevar a cabo en laboratorio las pruebas establecidas en los manuales de la Secretaria de Comunicación y Transportes (SCT) y el Organismo Nacional de Normalización y Certificación de la Construcción y la Edificación (ONNCCE) para así conocer la calidad geotécnica del banco de materiales. Las pruebas realizadas fueron las siguientes: granulometría por mallas (NMX-C-496-ONNCCE-2014), masa volumétrica seca suelta y masa volumétrica seca varillada (NMX-C-073-ONNCCE-2004), densidad y absorción en agregado grueso y fino (NMX-C-164-ONNCCE-2014 y NMX-C-165-ONNCCE-2014, respectivamente), límites de consistencia (NMX-C-493-ONNCCE-2018), equivalente de arena de acuerdo al manual M-MMP-4-04-004/02, compactación dinámica estándar y dinámica modificada (NMX-C-476-ONNCCE-2013) , valor relativo de soporte (VRS) (NMX-C-416-ONNCCE-2003) y relación de soporte de california (CBR)(NMX-C-522-ONNCCE-2016).
