Evolución histórica-jurídica de las corridas de toros en Morelia

Abstract

This thesis makes an introductory study of the historical and legal evolution of bullfights in the municipality of Morelia, starting from the antecedents of this activity in Spain and Mexico to determine their arrival in this city. In addition to the cultural question that implies bullfighting from cattle ranches to bullrings, as well as its vision as an intangible cultural heritage. It also addresses the regula-tions that have been required to carry them out from being organized by the church to being part of the government of the States or municipalities and the prohibitions they have faced.

La presente tesis cumple con un estudio introductorio de la evolución histórica y jurídica de las corridas de toros en el municipio de Morelia, partiendo de los an-tecedentes de esta actividad en España y México para así determinar su llegada a esta ciudad. Además de la cuestión cultural que implica lo taurino desde las gana-derías hasta las plazas de toros, así como su visión como patrimonio cultural in-material. Asimismo se aborda la reglamentación que se ha requerido para llevarlas a cabo pasando de ser organizadas por la iglesia a ser parte del gobierno de los Estados o de los ayuntamientos y las prohibiciones a las que se han enfrentado.
