Aprendizaje colaborativo en entornos virtuales para el laboratorio de enseñanza del programa de QFB

Abstract

The implementation of digital virtual tools in the educational environment represents a challenge, even more so when trying to include them in the practical laboratories of the different disciplines, including Analytical Chemistry; However, these tools are currently becoming a necessity, which is why we must begin to introduce them in all areas of the education sector. This research is qualitative and is carried out under the Action Research methodology. In it, digital virtual tools are analyzed and selected as support strategies within the Chemical Analysis laboratory, taking into consideration the skills and learning styles of the students; Likewise, the efficiency of ICT in collaborative work is evaluated. All this in order for the student to build their learning in a meaningful way, checking the learning acquired in theory within the laboratory, by solving real-life problems. It is worth mentioning that this research was carried out under the conditions of a Covid-19 pandemic, which is why it acquired greater relevance, since the use of ICTs to cover educational needs increased considerably, which implied a greater effort for development. of quality strategies for meaningful student learning, especially laboratories, where it went from face-to-face mode where the student was in direct contact with the phenomenon, to a totally virtual one, where the strategies that would replace said contact with the student would be implemented. phenomenon. Finally, the objective of this research was achieved, when observing that these tools motivated the student in the different sessions that were carried out when carrying out the solution of real problems, and likewise observing a good integration between the students when carrying out collaborative work.

La implementación de herramientas virtuales digitales en el entorno educativo representa un desafío, más aún al intentar incluirlas en los laboratorios prácticos de las diferentes disciplinas, incluyendo a la Química Analítica; sin embargo, en la actualidad dichas herramientas se están convirtiendo una necesidad, es por ello que debemos comenzar a introducirlas en todas las áreas del sector educativo. Esta investigación es de corte cualitativo y se lleva a cabo bajo la metodología de la Investigación-Acción. En ella se analizan y se seleccionan las herramientas virtuales digitales como estrategias de apoyo dentro de laboratorio de Análisis Químico, tomando en consideración las habilidades y estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes; así mismo, se evalúa la eficiencia de las TIC en el trabajo colaborativo. Todo esto con la finalidad de que el estudiante construya su aprendizaje de manera significativa, comprobando los aprendizajes adquiridos en la teoría dentro del laboratorio, mediante la resolución de problemas de la vida real. Cabe mencionar que dicha investigación se llevó a cabo bajo las condiciones de pandemia por la Covid-19, por lo que adquirió mayor relevancia, ya que aumentó considerablemente el uso de las TIC para cubrir las necesidades educativas, lo cual implicó mayor esfuerzo para el desarrollo de estrategias de calidad para un aprendizaje significativo del estudiante, en especial los laboratorios, donde se pasó de modalidad presencial donde el estudiante se encontraba en contacto directo con al fenómeno, a uno totalmente virtual, donde se implementarían las estrategias que sustituirían dicho contacto con el fenómeno. Finalmente se logró el objetivo de esta investigación, al observar que estas herramientas motivaron al estudiante en las diferentes sesiones que se llevaron a cabo al llevar a cabo la solución de problemas reales, y así mismo observándose una buena integración entre los estudiantes al llevarse a cabo el trabajo colaborativo.
