Para entender la arquitectura ecológica

Abstract

We live at a time when, rather than in others, there is concern for human and planetary well -being. This trend is manifested from different areas: in medicine, in food, in agriculture, in psychotherapies, in education, etc., and incipiently in architecture. Architecture is already part of this consciousness, designing and building in narrower contact with the earth and with ourselves, through an ecological concept. But in reality most architects are not familiar with the subject, which today should be a responsibility as professionals and as individuals.

Vivimos en una época en la cual, más que en otras, existe la inquietud por el bienestar humano y planetario. Esta tendencia se manifiesta desde diferentes ámbitos: en la medicina, en la alimentación, en la agricultura, en las psicoterapias, en la educación, etc., e incipientemente en la arquitectura. La arquitectura forma parte ya de esta conciencia, diseñando y construyendo en contacto más estrecho con la Tierra y con nosotros mismos, a través de un concepto ecológico. Pero en realidad la mayoría de los arquitectos no estamos familiarizados con el tema, lo que en nuestros días debiera ser una responsabilidad como profesionistas y como individuos.
