Mejoramiento de imagen urbano arquitectónica “Plaza Atapaneo”

Abstract

In most urban and suburban settlements in our country, the collective space by antonomasia is constituted by the squares. The square, in the urban structure of a small population is the very heart of a community, its intimate area, where the culture of its inhabitants, the meeting point and reference is expressed and reflected. It is strange to travel various populations and see that despite the hierarchical importance that keeps the square with respect to the rest of the urban plot, it is in conditions of deterioration, either due to lack of maintenance, lack of care from the inhabitants or age of the same.

En la mayoría de los asentamientos urbanos y suburbanos de nuestro país el espacio colectivo por antonomasia es constituido por las plazas. La plaza, en la estructura urbana de una población pequeña es el corazón mismo de una comunidad, su zona íntima, donde se expresa y refleja la cultura de sus habitantes, el punto de reunión y de referencia. Resulta extraño recorrer diversas poblaciones y ver que pese a la importancia jerárquica que guarda la plaza con respecto al resto de la trama urbana, esta se encuentre en condiciones de deterioro, ya sea por falta de mantenimiento, falta de cuidado por parte de los habitantes o edad de la misma.
