Abstract

Today sports occupies a place within society since over time and continuous activity it has been growing giving rise to a large number of athletes who acquire great interest in the realization of sports competitions. Becoming an essential pillar in human culture, since it is of great importance to maintain physical and mental health; Taking into account that man is not a physical and a psychological being, but that both are integrated qualities, so we could define sport as the physical and mental activity that is practiced for recreational and educational purposes, considered as a main element of Individual health.

Hoy en día el deporte ocupa un lugar dentro de la sociedad ya que con el transcurso del tiempo y la actividad continua ha ido creciendo dando lugar a una gran cantidad de deportistas que van adquiriendo un gran interés en la realización de competencias deportivas. Convirtiéndose en un pilar esencial en la cultura humana, ya que es de gran importancia para mantener la salud física y mental; teniendo en cuenta que el hombre no es un ser físico y otro psicológico, sino que ambas son cualidades integradas, por lo cual podríamos definir el deporte como la actividad física y mental que se practica con fines recreativos y educativos, considerado como un elemento principal de salud individual.
