Culture is the essential part of each society. The human being by nature cannot live isolated; It is grouped by regions that form their own society and therefore their own culture. One of the most important artistic expressions is music because it affects all the nuclei of society and is part of the daily life of each of them. La Cultura es la parte esencial de cada sociedad. El ser humano por naturaleza no puede vivir aislado; se agrupa por regiones que forman su propia sociedad y por ende su propia cultura. La cultura conjunta los modos de vida y costumbres; conocimientos y grados de desarrollo artístico, científico, industrial, en una época, grupo social, etc. El desarrollo artístico difiere en cada cultura y así mismo se vuelve un elemento de identificación para cada una de ellas. Una de las expresiones artísticas más importantes es la música debido a que afecta a todos los núcleos de la sociedad y forma parte de la vida diaria de cada uno de ellos. Todas las culturas reconocidas han desarrollado su propia música: existe una gran cantidad de estilos característicos de diferentes regiones geográficas o épocas históricas.
