Arquitectura hospitalaria en Morelia. 1901-1965

Abstract

The theme of this work consists in showing the results of an investigation carried out, as well as the analysis of the principles of modernity in the reflected and exemplified Morelia architecture in the health sector with hospitals and clinics built during the first half of the 20th century That is when, through porfirist tendencies and the influence of European architecture and to a large extent of American architecture, this modernist tendency in Mexico occurs.

La temática del presente trabajo consiste en mostrar los resultados de una investigación realizada, así como el análisis de los principios de la modernidad en la arquitectura de Morelia reflejada y ejemplificada en el sector salud con los hospitales y clínicas construidos durante la primera mitad del siglo XX que es cuando, mediante las tendencias porfiristas y la influencia de la arquitectura europea y en gran medida de la arquitectura norteamericana, se da esta tendencia modernista en México.
