Abstract

The historical sites and monuments available to the city of Morelia, its architecture, its culture, its history, the gastronomy of the region, among other factors, make this state capital, an attractive and interesting place for its visitors and those who live in her. In the year of 1991, UNESCO, names its historic center as "Cultural Heritage of Humanity"; international recognition that provided this beautiful city. For their part, the instances of federal, state and municipal government have been occupied for caring for and preserving this heritage3, being for the old Valladolid tourism a great source of income.

Los sitios y monumentos históricos con que cuenta la ciudad de Morelia, su arquitectura, su cultura, su historia, la gastronomía de la región, entre otros factores, hacen de esta capital del estado, un atractivo e interesante lugar para sus visitantes y quienes vivimos en ella. En el año de 1991, la UNESCO, nombro a su Centro Histórico como “Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad”;reconocimiento internacional que le proporcionó un atractivo más a esta bella ciudad. Por su parte, las Instancias de Gobierno Federal, Estatal y Municipal, se han ocupado por cuidar y preservar este Patrimonio3, siendo para la Antigua Valladolid el turismo una gran fuente de ingreso.
