Tipología de la vivienda tradicional de la región noroeste de Michoacán

Abstract

With the elaboration of this thesis, a study of the traditional architecture of the northwest region of the state of Michoacán comprised by the marshes of Zacapu, Chápala, Cuitzeo and the Michoacan, seeking to know the spatial schemes of use and function , as well as the formal and structural elements and the predominant traditional materials and systems in the area, in order to identify the typology of the region's housing. And once this typology was identified, factors such as the physical, cultural, ideological and religious means were analyzed, influenced their homes.

Con la elaboración de la presente tesis, se ha, realizado un estudio de la arquitectura tradicional de la región noroeste del estado de Michoacán comprendida por las Ciénegas de Zacapu, Chápala, Cuitzeo y el Bajío Michoacano, buscando conocer los esquemas espaciales de uso y función, como también los elementos formales y estructurales y los materiales y sistemas constructivos tradicionales predominantes en la zona, para así identificar la tipología de la vivienda de la región. Y una vez que se identificó dicha tipología, se analizó de qué manera factores como el medio físico, culturales, ideológicos y religiosos, influyeron en la conformación de sus viviendas.
