Abstract

As for sociocultural construction, the heritage acquires value and meaning for the society that made it, inherited and decided to keep it; Likewise, heritage has a dynamic condition because it is transformed over time, both by the action of physical, chemical and biological elements and by social and cultural transformations, which can cause the loss or gain of new values, meanings and uses. Therefore, at the moment when the society that holds a specific heritage, it loses the meaning of what it inherits, the patrimonial good will cease to be preserved, and therefore, it will cease to be heritage.

En cuanto a construcción sociocultural, el patrimonio adquiere valor y sentido para la sociedad que lo realizó, lo heredó y decidió conservarlo; así mismo, el patrimonio posee una condición dinámica porque se transforma con el tiempo, tanto por la acción de elementos físicos, químicos y biológicos como por las transformaciones sociales y culturales, que pueden ocasionar la pérdida o ganancia de nuevos valores, significados y usos. Por lo tanto, en el momento en que la sociedad que detenta un patrimonio específico pierde el sentido de lo que hereda, el bien patrimonial dejará de conservarse, y por esto, dejará de ser patrimonio.
