Abstract

Housing is a basic indicator of the welfare of the population, which constitutes the basis of family heritage and is at the same time, condition for accessing other satisfiers. It is an indispensable physical space for families and/or individuals to establish and develop fully in society. Housing as a unit, is the basic cell of the city and, together, occupies about 50% or more of the city area, constituting the activity that occupies the most area in the city.

La vivienda es un indicador básico del bienestar de la población, el cual constituye la base del patrimonio familiar y es al mismo tiempo, condición para tener acceso a otros satisfactores. Se trata de un espacio físico indispensable para que las familias y/o los individuos se establezcan y puedan desarrollarse plenamente en la sociedad. La vivienda como unidad, es la célula básica de la ciudad y, en conjunto, ocupa alrededor del 50% o más del área de la ciudad, constituyendo la actividad que más área ocupa en la ciudad.
