Efectos de los procesos de investigación y desarrollo en la generación de tecnología agroindustrial y la competitividad de las empresas exportadoras de aguacate de Uruapan, Michoacán

Abstract

The purpose of this research was the analysis of the changes of the procedures of research and the development of agro industrial technology on this generation that is necessary in order to increase the competitiveness of the export companies of avocadoes in Uruapan Michoacan, as well as carry out an approach to the solution of the identified problem. To acquire information it was necessary to come up with an outline made up of 27 questions, that at the same time they were subdivided into two polls: I) The first were questions concerning the actual situation on which the company was at that point of applying the inquiry, II) and the second questioner was about how the company was on the years of 2007 and 2008, both inquires were based on the Likert scale. In order to answer the inquires it was necessary to have the participation of the manager, or packing foreman being that they are the people that know the volume of avocadoes that goes in and out of the company. The number of the samples that were used consisted in 20 companies that were questioned. The research at the present time, correlates the research variables and development, agro industrial technology and competitiveness. The results that were obtained by going out door to door show that 90% of the exportation companies always deliver the Avocadoes in fresh for consumption. On the other hand, the participation of exportation of the companies of avocado in the international market has been favored with the improvement of quality in the exportation of avocadoes.

El propósito de esta investigación fue el análisis de la influencia de los procesos de investigación y desarrollo en la generación de tecnología agroindustrial necesaria para aumentar la competitividad de las empresas exportadoras de aguacate de Uruapan, Michoacán así¬ como realizar una propuesta de solución al problema identificado. Para la obtención de la información fue necesario el diseño de una encuesta con 27 preguntas que a su vez se dividieron en dos: i) en la primera se cuestionó la situación actual de la empresa al momento de aplicar la encuesta y, ii) en la segunda parte, cuál era la situación de la empresa en los años 2007 y 2008. Ambas preguntas fueron cerradas en escala Likert. Para responder el cuestionario, fue necesaria la participación empresarios y jefes de empaque, porque conocen el volumen de aguacate que entra y sale de la empresa. El tamaño de la muestra fue de 20 empresas encuestadas La presente investigación, correlaciona las variables de investigación y desarrollo; tecnología agroindustrial y competitividad. Los resultados obtenidos del trabajo de campo muestran que el 90% de las empresas destinan siempre el aguacate al consumo en fresco. Por otra parte, la participación de las empresas exportadoras de aguacate en el mercado internacional se ha favorecido con el mejoramiento de la calidad del aguacate para exportación.
