Capítulo tercero: DIAGNÓSTICO ECOLÓGICO PAISAJISTICO en donde es identificado geográficamente el sitio tanto a nivel estado como a nivel municipal, también se describen las características climatológicas del municipio de Hidalgo como son; temperatura, precipitación, evaporación, lluvias, asoleamiento, los rasgos topográficos, la geología, vegetación, fauna e hidrografía existente y que caracterizan el sitio. Capítulo cuarto: DIAGNÓSTICO DEL MEDIO ARTIFICIAL se lleva a cabo, como su nombre lo indica, la identificación de los elementos artificiales existentes en el entorno al área de estudio como son: las sendas, los nodos, hitos, bordes, barrios, tipos de paisaje y los recorridos característicos del sitio. Capítulo quinto: MARCO JURÍDICO es la fundamentación jurídica del tema, esta es clasificada en tres niveles que son el federal, el estatal y el municipal, siendo reglamentos que van desde la Constitución Política de los Estado Unidos Mexicanos, la Ley de Desarrollo del Estado, la Ley de Ambiente y Protección del Patrimonio, así como el Plan de Desarrollo Municipal, entre otros, los cuales deben de ser retomados para cualquier intervención urbana-arquitectónica.
