Abstract

A museum of modern and contemporary art takes as an aim the exhibition, conservation and investigation of art that it includes from the period that goes from the second world war until middle of the seventies of the 20th century, this stage is considered to be like the most prolific of the whole history of the art in general but especially of the modern art. The works of modern and contemporary art that commonly are exposed correspond to such diverse trends as: impresionism, posimpresionism, cubism, fauvism, expressionism, futurism, surrealism, abstract expressionism, pop-art and minimalism. It was thought about the design of a museum of modern and contemporary art about Morelia's city, due to the lack of a space directed specifically for it. Focused strictly for exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, with spaces adapted for this end, and directed for any person who is interested in the fine arts that, in this project were thought and assembled in an alone place, not only it might estimate of the painting, the sculpture, the photography if not also temporary exhibitions of all kinds of art, concerts, dance and enclosed projection of movies in his areas outdoors.

Un museo de arte moderno y contemporáneo tiene como objetivo la exhibición, conservación e investigación de arte que abarca desde el periodo que va desde la segunda guerra mundial hasta mediados de los años setenta del siglo XX, esta etapa se considera como la más prolífica de toda la historia del arte en general pero sobre todo del arte moderno. Las obras de arte moderno y contemporáneo que comúnmente se exponen corresponden a diversas tendencias tales como: impresionismo, posimpresionismo, cubismo, fauvismo, expresionismo, futurismo, surrealismo, expresionismo abstracto, pop-art y minimalismo. Se pensó en el diseño de un museo de arte moderno y contemporáneo en la ciudad de Morelia, debido a la falta de un espacio dirigido específicamente para ello. Enfocado estrictamente para exposiciones de arte moderno y contemporáneo, con espacios adecuados para este fin, y dirigido para cualquier persona que esté interesada en las bellas artes que, en este proyecto se pensaron y reunieron en un solo lugar, no solo se podría apreciar de la pintura, la escultura, la fotografía si no también exposiciones temporales de todo tipo de arte, conciertos, danza e incluso proyección de películas en sus áreas al aire libre.
