Ampliación del cementerio municipal de Lombardía, en Gabriel Zamora Michoacán

Abstract

When human groups settled and started a sedentary life, a part of the land they inhabited to bury their dead went. (Family Cemetery). With the advent of Christianity, the idea that if you are near the temple or inside, the deceased did not go to hell begins, so start cemeteries and graveyards to be called form around the temples. In the state of Michoacán, we can still find these cemeteries after the polls come inside the temple to keep the ashes of the deceased. Some people went for a place to bury their dead and gave it the name necropolis (Greek word meaning city of the dead)

Cuando los grupos humanos se establecieron e iniciaron una vida sedentaria, se destinó una parte del terreno que habitaban para enterrar a sus difuntos. (Cementerios familiares). Con la irrupción del cristianismo, se empieza la idea de que si esta cerca del templo o dentro del mismo, el difunto no irá al infierno, por lo que los cementerios empiezan a ser llamados camposantos y se forman alrededor de los templos. En el estado de Michoacán, aún podemos encontrar estos camposantos, después vendrán las urnas dentro del templo para guardar las cenizas de los difuntos. En algunos pueblos se destinó un lugar para enterrar a sus muertos y le dieron el nombre de necrópolis (palabra griega que significa: ciudad de los muertos)
