La Colonia Vista Bella en Morelia. La comunidad extranjera y su arquitectura

Abstract

After the inexistence of a study from the North American colony that was established in the Morelia’s city, and the poor register that can make easier the identification of constructions made by and for foreigners. The following work has as purpose to expose the architectural value that is presented in the Vista Bella colony. This is an initial study and that is why this research treats the topic in a general way and can be a starting point for future investigations that may complete or increase the information given by the foreign builders in the Morelia’s city, because in studies from the modern period in Morelia has not been treated the theme of foreign builders. The research was based on a documental, archive footage and photographic, but basically is supported by many interviews made by people who live in the Vista Bella’s colony and that had a direct relation with foreigners who lived there. We can emphasize the architecture that was became in an essential characteristic from this place for been the place where was stamped the reinterpretation from a traditionalist Mexico behind the eyes of the North American constructor and how was transmitted his vision to bachelorDegreeWork foreigners.

Tras la inexistencia de un estudio acerca de la colonia norteamericana que se asentó en la ciudad de Morelia y la falta de registros que faciliten la identificación de construcciones realizadas por y para extranjeros. El siguiente trabajo tiene como objetivo exponer el valor arquitectónico que se presenta en la colonia Vista Bella. Al ser un estudio inicial trata el tema de forma general para convertirse en un punto de partida para futuras investigaciones que puedan concluir o aumentar la información recabada de constructores extranjeros en la ciudad de Morelia, ya que en estudios del periodo moderno en Morelia no se ha tratado el tema de constructores extranjeros. La investigación se basó en trabajo documental, de archivo y fotográfico, pero principalmente se encuentra respaldada por entrevistas realizadas a pobladores de la colonia Vista Bella que tuvieron una relación directa con extranjeros que vivieron en esta colonia. Resaltando la Arquitectura que se convirtió en una característica esencial de la colonia, por ser el objeto donde plasmaban la reinterpretación de un México tradicional, a través de los ojos del constructor norteamericano y cómo fue que transmitió su visión a otros extranjeros.
