Abstract

The present work addresses the need to establish a new cultural complex focused on cinema for the city of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. The document, from an architectural point of view, joins the creative process of a space for the meeting of specialists and fans of the seventh art. The result is an architectural complex whose objective is to transmit to the assistants an experience that goes beyond just satisfying a need; Seeks to reach seduction through surprise. It is a center of academic activity and cultural diffusion that links the image in movement with the bachelorDegreeWork artistic expressions and that also provides the city with a place of recreation in the attempt to generate an improvement in the social fabric.

El presente trabajo aborda la necesidad de establecer un nuevo complejo cultural enfocado al cine para la ciudad de Morelia, Michoacán, México. El documento, desde un punto de vista arquitectónico, conjunta el proceso creativo de un espacio para el encuentro de especialistas y aficionados al séptimo arte. El resultado es un complejo arquitectónico cuyo objetivo es transmitir a los asistentes una experiencia que va más allá de sólo satisfaces una necesidad; se busca llegar a la seducción a través de la sorpresa. Se trata de un centro de actividad académica y difusión cultural que vincula la imagen en movimiento con las demás expresiones artísticas y que además brinda a la ciudad un lugar de esparcimiento en el intento de generar una mejoría en el tejido social.
