Este documento se ha realizado con la finalidad de renovar el rubro de los zoológicos, ya que el término usado es obsoleto, debido a que en el siglo XXI ya no se deberían tener este tipo de lugares en los cuales se tenga el manejo de animales, ya que al cambiar la temática ambientalista, se tienen otros aspectos más importantes ya que con el paso de los años el fin con el que cumplen estos 6sitios ha cambiado de ser solo taxonómico a tener una verdadera importancia no solo de exhibición y mostrar las especies en un supuesto sitio adecuado para su cautiverio, sino el mostrar de manera más naturalmente posible su comportamiento y así poder estudiar y ayudar con los planes de mantenimiento y conservación animal. Proporcionando así un cuidado adecuado para las especies en peligro de extinción. Es por eso que un Centro de Conservación e Investigación de la Vida Silvestre se dedica a esta causa, además de rehabilitar y dar cuidados para su reinserción a la naturaleza según sea el caso o bien el objetivo principal del Centro. Es por eso que en el proyecto de intervención integral del zoológico de Morelia, se planteó la problemática de renovar la imagen y concepto así como aprovechar de mejor manera los espacios que se tienen. haciendo que dicho espacio de conservación sea realmente un lugar en el cual el manejo de los animales silvestres sea adecuado, tanto al sitio, como a los objetivos demandados de la actualidad, y así dejar de lado lo obsoleto y dar paso a lo contemporáneo. Siendo este un proyecto ambicioso, y de magnitud innovadora en la ciudad y el país, dará mucho de qué hablar, además de aportar de manera positiva este tipo de proyectos
