Reordenamiento del plan maestro para la división de la Facultad de Biología. Con diseño del jardín botánico y edificio de posgrado "UMSNH", en Morelia, Michoacán

Abstract

The main objective of the current thesis is the realignment of an obsolete and inadequate master plan for the Biology Faculty Division, emphasizing the Botanic Garden’s design, the Postgraduate studies area, the internal roads, the natural objects and their preservation, and the links with bachelorDegreeWork institutions that will be part of “Ciudad del Conocimiento” (Knowledge City) in Morelia, Michoacan. This thesis looks forward to present, in a clear way, a sustainable vision that exceptionally reduces the consumption of natural resources, as well as the buildings’ operation costs, integrating technology that has a positive impact on the environment while satisfying the necessities of both temporary and permanent users through scenic, sensory, emotional and comfortable architecture. As part of the introductory stage, and as a first view of the intention of this investigation, this thesis presents the definition of the subject, its limits, the approach to the problem, the purpose of study, the general and specific objectives, and a hypothesis. To accomplish the objectives, this thesis then presents the analytic stage, integrated by six frames, in which different points of view, quantifiable data, socio-cultural influences, natural and building limits, successful typological background, architectonic charts and diagrams, construction systems, ecotechnics, construction materials, and rules, are unfolded. All of these, shapes the set of references that helped in the search for the best solutions, and justifies each part of the project.As a result of the investigation, it concludes with a proposition stage, that covers, from topographic and architectonic maps of it all, construction details and finishes of the Botanic Garden building and the Postgraduate building; to a budget based on the financial resources given at the present time for said project.

La presente tesis tiene como principal objetivo el reordenamiento de un plan maestro obsoleto y desacertado para la División de la Facultad de Biología, haciendo énfasis en el diseño del Jardín Botánico, el área de Posgrado, las vialidades internas, los objetos naturales para su preservación y los vínculos con las demás instituciones que formarán parte de la Cuidad del Conocimiento en Morelia, Michoacán. Se busca plantear de forma clara una visión sustentable que reduzca excepcionalmente el consumo de recursos naturales así como los costos de operación de los edificios, integrando tecnología que impacte favorablemente al ambiente satisfaciendo a su vez las necesidades de los usuarios fijos y temporales mediante una arquitectura escenográfica, sensorial, emotiva y confortable. Como parte de la etapa introductora y como un primer vistazo a la intención de la tesis, se presenta la definición del tema, sus limitantes, el planteamiento del problema, la justificación, el objetivo general y los específicos, y una hipótesis. Para cumplir los objetivos, en seguida se muestra la etapa analítica integrada por seis marcos en los cuales se desglosan distintos puntos de vista, datos cuantificables, influencias socio-culturales, limitantes naturales y de construcción; antecedentes tipológicos exitosos, tablas y diagramas arquitectónicos; sistemas constructivos, ecotécnias, materiales de construcción, reglamentos y normas; todo lo anterior conforma un conjunto de referencias que fueron de ayuda en la búsqueda de las mejores soluciones y justifican cada parte del proyecto. Como resultado de la investigación, se concluye con una etapa propositiva que abarca desde los planos topográficos y arquitectónicos del conjunto; detalles constructivos y acabados de los edificios del Jardín Botánico y Posgrado; hasta llegar a un presupuesto basado en los recursos financieros actualmente otorgados para dicho proyecto.
